Heaven forbid someone gets a train confused with a Tennis game!?!  Some lawyer's making lots of money!

Dave, that's what I thought the problem was too, but the Waratahs have been getting the new logos just as fast as they were before all this supposed legal action. Combine this with very little media coverage, and I'm inclined to think it's all a storm in a teacup. All I keep hearing is the figure $6m, and that's a payout to continue using the logo. They wouldn't be rolling it out across more Waratahs every night if there was any doubt if it could be used or not.

I don't know about the $6m payout to continue to use the logo, but the new uniforms cost $6.6m.

Makes sense, no point having only 1 regional line. Either have others as regional (Southern Highlands and possibly have Orange-Lithgow shuttles) or get rid of it and make it intercity. They chose the later.

I'd suggest this is the start of a larger shakeup by NSW TrainLink to redistribute how their trains operate, to ensure the best value for the commuters and other passengers alike.

30 days still no logos on most sets. Empty poster cases and bugger all brochures. Zero ticket wallets.
My point is the private sector would of got the full package done before launch.

That was NOT what we were discussing, I completely agree with you on that point.

I'm still waiting for any hard evidence, official comments, etc.

What happens in four weeks?

Incidentally, vine reports that an OSCar is in at UGL for NSWTrainLinkification, and at least one other V Set has been shunted into MainTrain for the same treatment.
