BRM T Class

According to the BRM facebook site, they will have more first series T Class back in stock by the end of August, hopefully in time for the Caulfield exhibition.  No mention of the P Class though.

Should we open betting on the P class being the surprise model and the AMRA Vic exhibition?  My bet is yes.

When they say sound ready does this model include the speaker already installed?

You'd think so, would there be many drastic changes between the older VLP N and A classes?

P classes would be good though. And some nice brass H cars... One can dream! Laughing

Modernising between say the original N Classes and the latest "version" of the VLP Cheezy liveries - IE: LED markers, modern features, things like that (I can't think of anything else 'modern' off the top of my head right now Laughing ).

I take it that there aren't that many major/drastic differences that would need say a new lot of dies to make the newest iterations of the N and A Classes (see Cheezy A & N Classes). Mainly just a fresh coat of paint, and plenty of cheeze.. Laughing

The cheeseburger livery makes a lot of sense, considering what should be a minor job since the tooling etc is paid for etc. I'm no expert, but another paint livery wouldn't break the bank - surely. Many people have requested a current livery, so its up to Auscision.....

However.......... The loco we dont talk about, OR - cant find out about;

Please stop teasing, a P class would be nice thanks.
Unless however, the P class was simply used as an unwilling victim by this mob for the p1ssing contest with the original proponent of the 1st series T?? We ALL know it was intended purely to white ant someone on delivery of product to market (being the T as the majority income earner by far).
Im NOT saying this is a bad thing, many people got what they wanted.

Alas, without ever having to satisfy the other half of the coin, people who wanted a P class got all yap yap, and no P class. With all the hoo ha and what not, BOTH models would (should) have been available fron the original proponent of them - yeah??
Seriously, what have we heard about the P class from BRM since the T was released 2 years ago? Other than some vauge reference to some written word buried in some modelling magazine nobody can seem to find, or whispered about at some exhibition one year. Stuff all- thats all. We dangle the carrot, then we whisk it away....

At the very least, give me a 1st series T with cut away valences in your "re run". Then i can spray it orange and grey8)

Regards

ps. Really do hope for a P class.
Deliver what "you" promised, and all is forgiven - pretty please Smile

Yeah not a great deal I guess. LED markers (removal of the lens box too), new windscreen wipers and maybe the flag holders. see here: OLD N472 NEW N472 (while on the subject VLP2 with white strips would be good Laughing)

The A class you'd need to add ditch lights and maybe the flag holders. see here: OLD A62  NEW A62 Ex mods  (NEW A62 VLP2) (an A class in VLP2 would be good too as they have not been done, maybe because of the ditch lights?)

BUT! yes a flat top with cut away valences would be good and a P class would be GREAT! Laughing

Would love to see a model of T342 in the all yellow livery from it's days at Australian Paper in Maryvale.
