Hi All,

I just thought I'd share some videos and photos of the Mornington - Mt Martha Model Railway Club's layout. We will add to these as we film and photograph more.

Here's a layout tour to begin with from track level.

Thanks for that.....very nice layout indeed. May I ask what DCC system you're using?

The club layout has provision for DCC but we are currently using good old fashion DC block control, it works better for most of the members this way.

Whereabouts is the club based? Do you have a website?

The club is based in Mt Martha house, in Mt Martha, we don't have a website yet.

I've been a visitor to Mt Martha several times. James has been taught long trains, train cam  from me ( in  a tiny way Wink
Thr guy who redid the electrical system was going to make provision for DCC at my advice but we never got to it. DC running on ne or two controllers means watching the trains as one always catches up the train ahead.

do a search on mt martha on youtube, you find some of my videos and james's   we did several long trains !!!!!!

The railway has WELL laid track allowing trains over 160 wagons if one is mad enough.  A good club !

Ahhh, HA!

I thought I saw on the video, that one oncoming train was following another one pretty close at one stage! Hairy stuff indeed.
