I am on a few facebook groups for rail discussion (there is never any real discussion just sighting posts) and whinging about access to buncam being restricted. Are you suggesting facebook based photos are restricted? They are not and can be linked by anyone.
The image in question looks like it may have been taken by a phone it is such poor quality. It is true photos should be linked with the photographer where possible as a matter of courtesy. So to a certain extent you are right, but you make a point about the practice needing to stop. Which practice?
Your post could be interpreted as being a complaint about the use of images from facebook groups like TDU and RAA? Is this the case? It would appear to me from group discussions facebook groups have some a long time leaching off Railpage's good will.
I would hope the groups and Railpage could share information.
