Don't understand the question?

Bankstown line services all run through cabramatta, originating at Liverpool.

Ah, no.  Not "all" Bankstown Services originate from Liverpool at all. I recall many departing from Central and proceeding to Bankstown VIA Sydenham, then returning to Central via Regents Park/Lidcombe, and alternate services doing the exact opposite. Between those were the LIVERPOOL via Bankstown services which went from Central thru Sydenham, and upon reaching Liverpool returned to Central the same way.
So I would suggest that the train in question was NOT a Bankstown service passing thru Cabramatta.
  bjwh86 Chief Train Controller

Well  Bankstown line trains from cabramatta do go through Bankstown. Unless it is an Inner west line service then it goes through regents park.

So YES it was a Bankstown service technically as it went through Bankstown.

A14 went into service last April and A13 was last June.

It appears that 50 Waratah trains have been delivered already and the news said by end of this year they will have 50 in service, but I'm assuming they might have more than 50 A sets in service since it's only August and there's enough time to deliver more A sets.

They (along with A12) required a little more work to get in a decent state, so they were reworked in a static area at Cardiff, while the better quality sets (A15+) went through the main production line. It was a way to kill two birds with one stone - it gave the employees displaced by Downer's decision to stop building locomotives somewhere to go, and kept the trains flowing through the workshop (hence avoiding penalty fees).

Should be more than 50 in service by the end of the year - one set is leaving Cardiff every 6 working days. There's a few delays in China, but that shouldn't upset things too much.

And A56 passed through Oly Park tonight under test. Bit of a surprise in between the footy trains.

Has anyone noticed that most of the new Waratahs with the Sydney Trains livery are missing the lower front skirt panels? (Either Driver ends where the brake gauges are?)

Just one quick question, does anyone know why the external speakers for announcements aren't being used anymore? Have noticed with a few of the Waratah trains lately only using internal speakers instead of using both for announcements like "stand clear, doors closing"?
