Lets play spotto for another new product from Auscision. http://www.auscisionmodels.com.au/products_page.htm ("railer", under accessories & parts)
The GH's have definitely arrived.Ah, so it would seem that Ausicion's master kit builders did not go to the trouble of making any of the more 'interesting' variations of the class, opting instead for the regular run of the mill edition provided for in the kit... Forget the wagons with the cut out ends and VHGY style braking, they didn't even bother to go to the effort to source a double chute type. Something else I don't have to buy RTR because I have more interesting examples from the kits.

I suppose it is up to you Aaron what you buy, but I imagine that Auscision went for what would sell and be profitable leaving the obscure versions to the kitbashers and scratchbuilders. It seems to me that with 800 in the class and most wheat trains having about 20 GH's in them there is amble room for the VR modeller to have both.95:5 rule.

For those contemplating buying VHW-7 - VHCX Hopper in Vline Red just beware they may have the wrong coding (VHDY) applied to the wagons.
I was searching for the aforementioned pack at the Our Town exhibition today when I discovered the above. I told the blokes at the Auscision stand who said it must have been a factory error they had not picked up. Unsure if all packs are effected or just those I saw today (all the VHW-7 on the stand).
Other than that though I must say the wagons of all versions looked great.
