Thank you to all those that attended, we had a superb day, the weather was excellent, better still considering that it is about 12C and raining as I type this on the following Sunday!

We had 36 attendees with 16 live steamers and 15 battery powered (diesel, steam and a 4 car Bluebird set) engines on the track, our yards were certainly full.

The quality of the live steam engines these days are excellent, they all show superb running qualities, the Accucraft and Roundhouse products stand out, they were all pulling respectable loads as well, the Roundhouse Fowler from Victoria just kept going and going.

This aspect of the hobby is certainly growing, I think it is time for Railpage to dedicate a category to miniature live steam LOL

Pencil in the 2nd Saturday of August 2014, it will be on again.

LOL That's all right Trevor, we'll still be around, only the good die young so I'll see you there.
Did you see the 32nd scale Bluebirds on the web site? they were made by an old mentor of yours, Geoff Ward.

Regards,
Wayne
