Hi to every one I'm a new member to this forum and would like to share my web page http://www.modeltrainbuildings.com.au I design and build wooden buildings for HO and N scale so far I have about 40 buildings mainly based on NSW and Victoria. My buildings come as flat pack kit's and range from $11.95 - $64.95 for my larger pack which is of the Bombala train station and out building including the stores shed on a platform in that kit you get 3 buildings and the wooden railway front for the main platform, I also do printed buildings that you can put together in a matter of minutes. I have done 5 different signal box kits and I am now starting of a row of small shops. which will include a butcher, bakery, chemist and other shops and for no extra charge I will put your name on a shop E.G Garry's quality meats butcher. I also have a shop on Ebay  http://stores.ebay.com.au/coolumbeachlaserdesign
I am also open to new designs that you would like to see as kits
happy modeling

I just purchased the Bombala station set via ebay and I can vouch for these models.
Although I have not built anything just yet - the quality of these kits is very high quality

Stuart :
Would love to see some other designs sneak their way into your plans:
such as :
NSWGR Roundhouse ( either based on Enfield/Lithgow/Broadmeadow etc )
NSW Footbridge - if thats not too complicated
NSWGR coal stage - the small one.

Lots of cool things to do - all NSWGR of course!!

Pop over to http://gallery.records.nsw.gov.au/index.php/galleries/maps-and-plans/hotel-plans/ and then
its related link http://investigator.records.nsw.gov.au/Entity.aspx?Path=Series9590  for hundreds of ideas - many of these hotels would make excellent models. Poke around http://www.records.nsw.gov.au/state-archives/research-topics/architecture/architecture
for a few hours and you'll find many more ideas.

I can't take credit for these plans but will happily take the free kits Wink

If you're modelling early colonial buildings i have found within the Newcastle University photographic collection at least 100 detailed plans of various structures from Pubs, Convents, dwellings.

You should find a few good ones with this link

How do My kits compare to models and more well mine are far cheaper cut from the same woods.  I can do them a lot cheaper as I have Trotec Laser speedy 500 which is probably the best laser cutter you can buy. I am also looking into weatherboards and corrugated iron but these products add to the the cost considerably  but add a lot of realism. So I will end up offering both kinds of kits as not everyone is willing to pay $146.00 for a small house.

A kit is only the base of a model how it ends up is up to the modeler if you spend the time building it and painting it it will look just like Models and more

Very nice, but just a question does it come with a figure of the late Peter Allan though he was born at Tenterfield. Laughing
