Wagga would be the closest guess so far.
It is over 30 years since those rails had a train on them.

Maybe Finley ?

Indeed, Finley it is, beside the highway from Berrigan just before it curves south to the station.

I did have another photo pointing in the other direction, but it was a dead give-way due to the road sign that got into the frame.

This scene is abut all the archaeology that remains of this station and yard. It is just scrub and coarse grass there now.

Living not far from the last one was not an advantage to me, as you can see by my prolonged scattered guessing.

Is it just me, or does that picture from Rodo not load?
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

I think the link was corrupted somewhere. I believe Rodo is pointing at this photo:

If so, my guess is Guildford (Tasmania)

Yes Duttonbay that is the photo I tried to load twice.

You have the right state anyway.

Rodo

Is it Hampshire?

No billyboy, you do seem to have the right sort of idea basically.

Two useful guesses there that are at least vaguely warmish. Is there anyone else inclined to try ?

Zeehan?

Location: Southern Riverina
You have it Duttonbay,

It is the EBR terminus at Zeehan, little to show what was a major station but the old roadbed north to Melba Flats is still obvious.
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

Thanks Rodo.  I was expecting Zeehan in the era of those railcars to look a little busier...

Where's this then? At the time the photo was taken the line coming in from the left, and heading away from me, had seen its last train, although nobody knew it yet...

Perhaps that shot could be Kowulka, near Penong SA. The existing line heading left being the new line going via the limestone pits at Kevin. The photographer is standing on the old line that went to Thevenard via Koonibba.

I would say that Zeehan pic was taken in the 1960s when Zeehan had little mining and the passenger traffic had dwindled to little more than what is carried today on the twice weekly minibus service. Mt Lyell concentrates had perhaps just started to be loaded in Zeehan yard before heavier rail was laid as far as Melba Flats . Then Zeehan station and yards was rapidly demolished and EBR passenger services abandoned.
  duttonbay Minister for Railways

Kowulka is correct, although it's not limestone at Kevin but gypsum and salt.  So it's back to Rodo

Where is this sadly neglected station ?

I don't know why I cant post flickr images but here is a link to it.

My win was a lucky guess but the only junction like that I could think of.
