Hello there,

I've noticed the bookmarklet 'Add loco' and the loco database search are playing up.
This is the error returned from searching the database:

Warning: json_decode() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /srv/Railpage.com.au/www/public_html/modules/API/includes/class.railpage.api.php on line 190

Using Flickr, the bookmarklet returns:

Results for X42
No results found!
Try again in a moment - the search engine re-indexes the database every hour, during which time the index is offline for approximately 90 seconds.

Cheers,
TM.

Yep, I've just discovered we have connection problems to our API from the production site. Will work on it tomorrow.

I am having dificulty with the search function, either it does not return any results or if it does it times out when I click on a result.

Guys, the search engine has many different parts to it. Please be specific when reporting bugs on it - hell, on any part of Railpage.

What were you searching for?
In which areas (Forums, News, etc)?
Which filters, if any, were you applying?

Type any word into the search box at the top of the page and it will either not return any results or if it does clicking on them or the Advanced search box and it will time out.

At first (linking from a TRN) it's slowish to load, about 30sec; but if successive links from TRNs are used, it's much quicker, like about 5sec, as if Railpage & my compy have assimilated with one another. However, if my next link is to a site other than Railpage, the subsequent Railpage connection will be as slow as the initial one, then picks up again as described above.....

This is no longer the case Very HappyVery HappyVery Happy first link - and all subseqent ones - load promptly, approx 5sec or less.

Interesting now when I visit Railpage,  I get told via a message at the top of the page that my browser is old & needs to be IE9 and above. Well my browser is IE10  so can't that message out!
When I use Firefox, no such message.

Interesting issue I am having here, everyones avatars do no load up and the little thumbnail pics next to text in the header drop downs seem to be MIA. Not sure if it's a bug or if the server just doesn't like my computer since they were working earlier today on a different computer.

I'm running FireFox 25.0.1 on Windows 7 if that's any help to you guys.
