Does anyone have any idea what this will look like when they produce these?

What is a tasrailer?

Apparently it's a folding frame that sits on a container wagon deck to carry logs in one direction and then be folded down so a container can sit on top of it. Forty are being built.

A quick google doesn't bring up any images, unfortunately.

RTT, your not thinking of AN's experiments with Roadrailers are you? Regardless, I also seem to recall an earlier experiment with "log containers" when the 'QN's were first converted from the 'FE's.

Try 1988, so well before the QN conversions!

No, not them. I'm fairly sure when I lived in Tas during 90's. I'm fairly certain I saw container wagons with log arms that could fold up or down.

Would have been QN65 then. Converted 1997 and not a great success . . . . .
