The comedy of eBay in the HO section. Part 2

How do these people get a 100% feedback?
Teditor
'Cause the feedback only deals with the sales side.

Something sounds fishy.

"Stuck at post office" Yeah right! (NOT) Tell us another one!

Have a look at his NR85 class.

Have a look at the front just above the coupler, the white rail that looks like a fat "U".

In the first picture, it seems as it should be

But then have a look at the same part here: http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTA2NlgxNjAw/z/7f4AAOxyOJxSMnjP/$T2eC16dHJG!FFmf,-zD!BSMnjO,3z!~~60_57.JPG
Does that look slightly different? ie: It goes down on one side. Wonder if it's same loco.

By the way, "never run" Yeah right! (NOT)

How do these people get a 100% feedback?

And the old chestnut.

"I would really prefer bank deposit for payment too, if you are concerned as to why please email me."

So if things go wrong, its untraceable = no refund.

An "S class ANL GM45 loco" going for $100. What's an S class GM45?

What you get in the picture isn't even a bulldog however, in place of a Lima S class or ANL liveried GM is an el-cheapo Life-Like GP38-2 complete with horn hooks and plastic drive wheels in a Lima box. Surely it isn't a typo and the starting price is actually $10?

Could be a case of fed the wrong information from someone, and the loco was stuffed into that box?

Although, considering you can buy a whole train "set" (track, transformer, 4 carriages, loco and some signs) for that amount from the local Toyworld with that loco in it for about the same price BNIB (yes, I went there... Laughing ), you'd think they meant $10!

That loco new is only worth at the most about $50 -$60 not a penny more brand new. So he would never get $100 for that not even in his dreams. Someone tell him he is dreaming.

GM's in AN days where referred to as F or S types the earlier GM 1 series where classed as F class as they only had Four( F) traction motors. The later GM 12 types were referred to as S class as they had Six (S) traction motors. It was just used as an internal reference in most cases so that trains got appropriate power and did not come to a halt because someone thought they were all the same.

ANL was a shipping line as in Ships that were on the water, as well so whoever really has his wires crossed here.

The same AN is back after selling for $500 ?
anzac1959

More likely is someone understands the principles of supply & demand, applied the logic of risk versus reward, and purchased multiple AN3's in the expectation of making a profit on items that would quickly sell out.

Please explain?!

With the carriage that is broken in half, is it me, but would it have such a straight line where it was broken?

Polyester resin, that 'perfect' straight break is typical. Nothing to be alarmed about.

For those wanting a Auscision AN3 in Red Ghan ( sold out) they are still to be found if you do not want to deal with Ebay.  Train World last Wednesdy had a AN3 ghan for the RRP of $290. If you want one try there, or any shop selling Auscision...... Smile

K'nell!  Possibly meant $56 and made a typo.  Even $56 would be a bit high for starters.

So three brands and which one do you believe! I will take the person that said it is a Lloyd's kit personally as he seems to know a lot more than the actual seller. Bit of a fraud really to find it describe as Bergs Brass and then Austrains and it is neither.

Typographical I'd say.
