Better integration with Facebook and Twitter (amongst others), where links posted to Railpage content gives a more richer preview Smile

Great. Can you list some other features for us?

I like how you can share the images which appear on the front page and the gallery area but you cannot share the railcam images some of which are really good.  I would also like to be able to share a post from within the forums, not the thread but a post which could contain useful information.

Noticed:

- Large gap, of grey colour underneath category and before forums in Forum Index
- Poll is gone
- When there's a Mark as Read button, it throws the forum out of alignment
- There's a considerable amount of padding below the Quick Reply post button. Would it be more logical to move the "All times" and "jump to" part out of the container? Forget I said that... I see why it's like that Smile

Other than that, Looks great, I see you're utilising Bootstrap more... Smile

You must be logged into Railpage to view the Railcams, which is why they cannot be shared across Facebook.

To link to an individual post right click the chain link icon in the bottom-left corner of each post, and click "Copy link address" (or "Copy shortcut", depending on your browser).

First unread post button doesn't seem to work for me. Bring back the colour light signals...

it's new, harder to skim many posts now and see if  the threads are read or not. Still only 5minutes with it so just in the initial  use of the new look.

As you wish:

Grey gap:

No Poll:

And the alignment thing appears to be fixed... must just be a caching issue.

The left grey bar indicates no new posts. A left green bar indicates new posts.

Polls are deprecated for the moment, and will be coming back in a future version Smile

I wasn't referring to that, I was referring to the bit here:

As you can see, there's a grey line, if you will, of 4 or 5px between the Category Header and the first forum in each forum group.

Also, better display of tweets within forum posts:

Certainly very orientated towards a lot of graphics & IMO, not as friendly as the previous version
and I still get the warning notice that Railpage Australia™ thinks I am using an old Browser but I am using IE10   but now the site accepts using IE10 Compatibility mode

Do you think the whole Twitbook/G+ thing can blocked as an option to speed up loading of pages? The only place I want to see URLs containing the strings "facebook" and "twitter" is in my hosts file. Smile

Something weird going on. I use multiple devices to access RP, my phone (WP8 ), my tablet (Android 4.2), multiple PCs at home (Win 7) possibly multiple PCs at work (Win XP). Now when I log out of any of these and log on to another posts that I had read on another device used show as read on the current device. Not any more...

Just noticed that when you have an emoticon in the text you can't get the cursor to the right of it, it always goes back to the left! Also, disabling emoticons doesn't work.

These are loaded through JavaScript after the bulk of the page has already been transferred and rendered in your web browser.

The jump to "forum" drop down menu is no longer displayed at the bottom of the page when you are in a thread.

One step forward & a heck of a leap backwards for me.

I have avoided the achebook & finally rid myself of it after a lot of trying, so having to adapt to it as well as the its brother the twits, is something I personally do not see of any benefit.

Pasting a table into a forum post looks fine on review but not when submitted.

Editing of railcar image details has an issue.  When editing the description and then doing a save, the description is not visible when you enter the image details screen once again but does show the edit on the gallery page.

These added a massive amount of database queries to each page generation for no appreciable benefit, and have been removed. I don't anticipate their return any time soon.
