A well-to-do English gentleman farts in the bath. His valet rushes out, and returns a short time later with a hot water bottle and a bottle of Bovril!
Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all week. Try the veal, and don't forget to tip the waiters!
So summarise so far, as part of Website of Record, clones include:Is my first Vegemite there? I know it is Vegemite, but is a little different.
* Vegemite,
* Marmite,
* Pawill
* Our Mate at IGA
* Promite is from 1950s
* Aussiemite from 2000
* Ozemite from 2012 (Dick Smith)
* Cenovis from Switzerland
* Bovril (may belong to a different category).
* Mighty-Mite
* Vegemite Cheesybite (thanks Graham4405 - see below) (named in a competition)
There are still at least two more, samples of which are on the kitchen table.
However not all clones are sold at the one store, so you need to visit several stores to complete the list.

Marmite. Was first and was created in late 1890s in UK
Vegemite came in 1919 in Australia and even had a name change to Parwill for a few years to compete with Marmite
"Marmite but Parwill " was the slogan
