Services are proposed to change as follows:
Route 480 – Clarkson Station to Butler via Marmion Av (Minor route change)
The route would change to operate between Clarkson Station and Butler Station via Marmion Av. This will mean that the two bus stops north of Butler Bvd will no longer be served by Route 480 and passengers would be able to catch the amended Route 490 and new Route 491 (see below)
Services are proposed to run every 10-20 minutes in peak times and 30 minutes off peak Monday to Friday and every 60 minutes on weekends.
Route 481 – Clarkson Station to Quinns Rocks via Mindarie (Frequency upgrade)
Services are proposed to operate at an increased frequency to compensate for the loss of Route 482 in Mindarie (see below)
The route would run every 10 minutes in peak times (upgraded from current 20 minute service) and 30 minutes off peak Monday to Friday (upgraded from every 60 minutes) and every 60 minutes on weekends.
Route 482 – Clarkson Station to Quinns Rocks via Mindarie (Major route change and frequency upgrade)
The route would change to operate between Clarkson Station and Butler Station via Marmion Av and Santa Barbara Pde. Services would no longer operate through Mindarie en-route to Clarkson Station, reducing journey times for passengers in Quinns Rocks north of Santa Barbara Pde. Amended Route 482 will be coordinated with amended Route 480 to maximise frequency along Marmion Av
Services are proposed to run every 10 minutes (upgraded from current 20 minute service) in peak times and 30 minutes off peak Monday to Friday (upgraded from every 60 minutes) and every 60 minutes on weekends (currently no service on Sundays).
Route 483 Clarkson Station to Alkimos via Merriwa (Minor route change and frequency upgrade)
The route would undergo a minor change running via Butler Station at all times
Services are proposed to run at an increased frequency running every 10 minutes (up from current 10-20 minute service) in peak times and 30 minutes off peak Monday to Friday and every 60 minutes on weekends.
Route 484 Clarkson Station to Alkimos via Ridgewood (Minor route change and frequency upgrade)
The route would undergo a minor change running via Butler Station at all times
Services are proposed to run at an increased frequency running every 10 minutes (up from current 10-20 minute service) in peak times and 30 minutes off peak Monday to Friday and every 60 minutes on weekends.
Route 490 Clarkson Station to Two Rocks via Yanchep (Major route change)
The route would undergo a major change to run from Two Rocks to Butler Station via Two Rocks Rd and Marmion Av
This change would mean that services no longer run via Brazier Rd or Lagoon Dr in Yanchep and instead travel on a more direct path through Yanchep on Marmion Av, reducing journey times for passengers north of Yanchep Beach Rd. New Route 491 (see below) will serve Yanchep west of Marmion Av and St Andrews Estate.
Passengers wishing to travel to any destination south of Butler, including Ocean Keys Shopping Centre, would be able to transfer services at Butler Station.
This service would work in conjunction with new Route 491 (see below) to maximise service frequency from Yanchep to Butler Station via Eglinton and Alkimos.
Services are proposed to run every 20 minutes in peak times and 60 minutes off peak Monday to Friday and every 60 minutes on Saturdays and every 120 minutes on Sundays.
Route 491 Butler Station to Yanchep (New route)
New Route 491 is proposed to run between Butler Station and Yanchep via Marmion Av providing a second bus route through Alkimos, Eglinton and Yanchep.
This new service would work in conjunction with with amended Route 490 (see above) to maximise service frequency from Butler Station to Yanchep via Alkimos and Eglinton.
The new route will primarily operate between Butler Station and Yanchep (Wilkie Av near Grey Ct) with selected services extending to St Andrews Estate and a new terminus on Yanchep Beach Rd between Parkland Dr and St Andrews Dr.
Services through St Andrews Estate are proposed to run less frequently due to poor patronage on the current Route 490. Services will be maintained on existing roads, however only areas west of Marmion Av will maintain a higher level of service.
Passengers wishing to travel south of Butler, including Ocean Keys Shopping Centre, would be able to transfer services at Butler Station.
Services in Yanchep are proposed to operate:
Yanchep west of Marmion Av including Wilkie Av, Brazier Rd and Lagoon Dr
Yanchep east of Marmion Av including St Andrews Estate
Weekday peak 20 minutes 40 minutes
Weekday off peak 60 minutes 120 minutes
Saturday 60 minutes 120 minutes
Sundays 120 minutes 120 minutes
