The landscape is deceiving - its looks dry, but there is plenty of water close by.

Buloke then, that is close to the lake of that name.

Water does not necessarily mean lake.

It is indeed the Midland Highway crossing at Byrneside (just north of Tatura) - the water reference being the Irrigation Channel that passes under the line, but which is barely visible in the second photo. All rather deceiving, looks a very dry area, but is in the middle of Irrigation on all sides.

I did suspect that any driver that visits these forums would eventually spot this. In fact, I saw your comment on the Echuca-Toolamba thread first and immediately knew that a visit to this one would probably see a post - and I wasn't wrong.

Someone else can post, as I am away from home and have about exhausted my photo supply (in Japan right now, I experienced Shinjuku station at rush hour yesterday, but have survived it).

***Headslap*** I knew I'd seen that before, particularly the fibre comms pit....

Where's the location of this sorry looking goods shed?

Yep, Woomelang. I really wasn't thinking last week. I'd posted a different view of the same shed a while ago.
