Still doing decals Ted I emailed you and have not received a response
The show was a great venue andenjoyed the hours today I got to spend there. Did not catch Ted, but did catch a few there !
It was nice weather, a good sized hall and a lot of different sixed exhibits. from T gauge up to full sized trollies there was somethign there to please. A good showing of traders too.
Worth going next year if one could. For me it was a friday 11pm decison to come to Brisbane and having the show on was great, Git my younger brother to drive me up and back, and his daughter came for the ride, but after the 2nd hour was rather bored of the trains
Greatr work guys !

David,
I would assume you came in from Brisbane, unfortunately the placement of signs is restricted by Council, we are only permitted to put out 20 and they must follow some strict ruling in design and placement and the main entry to Toowoomba from Brisbane is one of those restrictions.
On the other hand, many locals commented on how well sign posted the event was.
The likes of emails, forums, facebook, media etc were fairly heavily used and we did distribute 31,000 fliers by Letterbox distribution.
We looked into television advertising, but the costs far outweighed any percieved return value.
Drive by is difficult to assess due to the showgrounds location as there is limited traffic just driving past.
In regards to the signs-I am sure I saw at least 6 or 7 of those on my way to the show and travelling to my Sons place at Middle Ridge
I was impressed with the clear logical art work and the attention grabbing factor. My Son had even mentioned that he saw several and was aware the show was on
Good work Guys
How about some hands-on items:
A layout for visitors drive trains, using a recent technology controller.
Visitors participating in constructing a layout (many hands make light work). Show the progress on the club website so all participants can see the weekends progress.
Your suggestion?????????????????????
