I will check today if I go to town but I think wagons are being scrapped at Picton Container terminal also. May be BAUY skeletons, JP? Oil wagons or XO woodchip wagons.

it appears that the AHQF(former western quarries) limestone hoppers currently stored out at parkeston are being prepared for the chop as well.

I see the old narrow gauge transfer wagon Q1966 is among those at Kalgoorlie.

It was built to carry the narrow gauge Wegmann dining car from Port Augusta to Marree.

It has already lost its three axle bogies, presumably for possible future use and is on standard bogies.

The JP oil wagons have had their handrails cut off. Unsure where the rest of the BAUY's are ?

The remaining BAUY's were sitting on the back track at old Picton on Sunday, behind the woodchip wagons etc. I see all of the flat tops have now gone from Brunswick Junction as well. P2504 was shunting the wagons on Friday including the long stored ones on the siding south (Bunbury end) of the old Picton Yard.

These have been trickling out of Avon Yard for a while now, but I did pass four of them in one pass between Perth and Northam today.

All those wagons are nearly gone now. The JP? oil wagons have remained though. J and P may not be interested in them given their aluminium ? Or maybe they are keeping them.

So sad.

Yeah I assume to J and P's yard for resale or cutting up.

The XO and XY? (coverted to carry alumina) wagons are at the J and P Yuna yard. Unsure if BAUY's are there, they are harder to spot at highway speed. Old Picton, Picton container terminal is now empty.

Saw a number of SG Grain wagons heading for Perth last week as I was heading to Northam.
Wasn't sure if they had been damaged ie: Derailment, or heading for the scrapper.
Now I know!
