Should have mentioned before...

The VBBX Vans that I received are fitted with the doors with the two louvres on each (as expected). But also in the box, is a complete set of replacement doors without louvres, 4 doors for each van to mix and match.

Also the free Stephens Railex van that was on offer, comes with the non-louvre doors fitted (as per prototype photos) but also has a complete set of beautifully pad printed replacement doors included with the two louvres on each in the box.

Covers all angles I suppose.

I asked Auscision about their now overdue VLX/BLX wagons and was advised there was a problem at the manufacturers factory but all is OK now with the production rescheduled. I guess the old saying "when one door closes another door opens" still rings true.

Haven't seen any news in recent times about the NSW 36' fish belly underframe wagons and forgot to ask on their progress at the Auscision stand at Epping. Kind of keen to hear more. A surprise pack at Liverpool perhaps? Anyone know more?

The West Coast Railway livery VLCX 2-packs didn't arrive from China with the other VLX's, ETA is 4 weeks away.

The comments are just worth reading alone - the majority of folks are against a NR release! Quite interesting.

I have no idea what the purpose of all these pics are : testing the reaction I guess for some free market research.

I'm personally not interested in an NR - the 86's are getting my 100% attention for now!!!!!!

The only thing that makes sense and common theme is a possible merger with Austrains after Octobers Liverpool Show....no scoop, just putting some pieces together.

Maybe, but the Bicentennial shots are JLX free!

So the speculation ball continues in play,,,,

The Austrain/Auscision connection is just so obvious but I highly doubt it.

I was thinking they might be hinting at something along the lines of decals/paint Idea although I don't recall seeing anything on their facepalm site indicating what's the point of posting all those 'random' pics other then the bicentennial group picture with the 'Do you have them all' caption.

They couldn't send paint by Australia Post so I think you can rule that one out.

It's a big stretch, but i'm starting to believe there is some sort of deal being done.
Maybe something along the lines of BRM. Think along the lines of Austrains product being marketed and sold by Auscision.

btw: I know Austrains love to belittle the comments on here, so hi guys and have a great chuckle at my expense! :-p

Hey Kingfisher,

I received some paints (for a model car, but thats another story) from a shop in Melbourne delivered to Sydney via Auspost eParcel, the shop said to allow an extra couple of days as they would be freighted by road as they could not be air freighted as they are noted as dangerous good, thus road transport only.

Cheers Alex.

Thanks Alex for the info, I had been under the impression that Australia Post wouldn't send paint under any circumstances.
