OK. Just wanted to provide the feedback.  The site is looking absolutely magic.

Were my eyes seeing things? Jobs ads?

I am also having issues with some pages.  Some google ads display and other only display Sponsored blah where the ad was/is?

I'm seeing "Sponsored Advertisement" where the advertisement usually is, with the ad appearing over the text of the page.

One of the pages where this occurred is:
https://www.railpage.com.au/news/s/planning-minister-defends-govt-decision-on-newcastle-rail-corridor-development

Same result occurring in Safari, Chrome and Firefox. Haven't tried Internet Explorer
  BigBoy2015 Station Master

Also found another issue.  News stories in https://www.railpage.com.au/news/t/train-simulator-news do not list but when you select a story from the front page the other train sim stories are displayed a similair stories.

weird.

I have tried to both upload an avatar and also link from a URL neither work.

Are we sure that all these extra doodads added recently are not starting to slow the page load times down a little?

I am currently in Taiwan on a 35Mb Down, 25Mb Up connection (FTTB here) and to me the site is taking longer to load, and by that I mean only a few seconds, you have to wait a few seconds while this reply box opens etc, where before you could go straight in.

I have tried IE, Chrome and FF, all are similar, and other Australian sites have not slowed.

Adding an event seems broken.

dad can be added to the page but when you wish to enter the location of the event the system/field does not respond.  So ok.  I leave the location information for the map free and click save.

I then get the error

Mysqli statement execute error : Column 'lat' cannot be null
/usr/share/php/libzend-framework-php/Zend/Db/Statement/Mysqli.php
214

on page https://www.railpage.com.au/events?mode=event.add

You'll have to provide me with some context there.

I do not know how to post a screen shot on my device. The pictures which have been supplied are the exact issue.

It happened last night (when I posted it). I launched the site the way I always do, from a bookmark (www.railpage.com.au). Instead of http://www.railpage.com.au it changed to static.railpage.com.au in my browser (Google Chrome on Windoze 7). It only happened for that session, it is now back to "normal".

I have tried today to add an event and received the same problem.  The issue is verified.

If you enter an address for the event the system does not change the map and does not really accept or search for the address.

Still the same issue.

The format of the buttons to reply have changed away from a simple view if that helps.

No, it doesn't help - I have no idea what you mean by that.

I don't have an iPhone so I cannot test it, but the issue I fixed is a JavaScript bug which would have affected all mobile devices. The fix is confirmed on my Android. Can others please check the railcams on their phone and report back.

The railcams are loading on iOS. They look fine.

The dorum posts are not. I think the problem is the forum posts page as in the thread par only is not being displayed as a mobile based page. Looks like a computer based page with lots of other buttons and options which were not there previously.

*sigh*

Can you not see how I would be confused?

I posted that bug X has been fixed. You reply back with "Still the same issue", suggesting it's not. At no point did you indicate that you were referring to bug Y, and not bug X.

Pick up your game. I don't have time to waste chasing down ghost bugs.

Forums here are becoming increasingly slower, borderline unusable on older systems (a mid-2000s system might be old these days, but it's not a 386SX). Hate to say it, but the bunzel forums Just Work. I would struggle to think they can even be viewed on a mobile device without the user giving up after 30+ seconds of loading/waiting - it takes 18 seconds for me to load page 11 from here, despite being a simple middle click on the "11" at the bottom of the page.

Ironically, page 11 - when it finally loads - greets me with David Peters saying "While not having seen an outage page for a while, the site is certainly a lot faster now!"
