Been in and around Newcastle this week for work and seen a few more interesting sights in between the regular coal trains:
0712 @ Sandgate 8226/8145 5404N Grain
1035 @ Waratah C504/C509/C507 4190N Containers
0724 @ Waratah CM3302/BRM002/BRM001/CM3303 CA02 Coal
1810 @ Sandgate SSR101 Yellow Grain Hoppers towards Newcastle
1815 @ Sandgate EL56/EL57 Empty Coal
1628 @ Sandgate EL64/EL63 Loaded Coal
1642 @ Sandgate EL56/EL57 Loaded Coal
1731 @ Sandgate CF4408/CF4407 1581N Containers
1617 @ Tarro EL56/EL57 Loaded Coal
1651 @ Tarro CF4404/CF4411/CF4412 'Black Caviar' Empty Coal
1700 @ Tarro VL357/VL353 Small Green Containers towards Newcastle
1853 @ Tarro G526/G537 Blue Grain Hoppers towards Newcastle
Would be much appreciated if anyone knows the details of the workings of SSR101, the VL's and the G's. The G's appear to be more of a VIC regular, they were hauling a mix of WGBY/WGSY grain hoppers.
Good to see the Pelton coal's back out and running again, maybe not much longer?!
