Good day!

I'm new in this Forum. I am from Austria, and since I was in Australia a few months ago, I falled in love with this country and with the Australian trains (especially the Queenland Trains).

So I would like to ask, if there is a model of the QR 2000 class railmotor available?
The only producer I found is Far North Hobbies , but I don't know how to contact them. Southern Rail Models announced that they will produce this train, but I don't know when it would be released...

Does anyone have experiences with Wuiske M class carriages (I want to order them, but I think that my austrian email-adress is in their spam-section, because I got no response from them, also no Response from Southern Rail Models)

And last but not least, I wan't to say thank you in advance and sorry for my not at all good english!

Many regards from Austria

Hi Florian, QR is exotic for an Austrian!  Good on you. According to their Facebook page, SRM will be producing the QR 2000 Railcar after they have completed the 2300 class locomotive. The pre-production models of the 2300 class were shown at the Brisbane Model Railway Exhibition this weekend, so you might haver a bit of a wait for the railcar. Best place to keep up to date is their Facebook page – http://www.facebook.com/southernrailmodels

Have fun with Aussie models!  Mal

Thank you for your reply, I liked their Facebook-Group now!
So they definetely produce the railmotor Smile

Does Far North Hobbies have a website?

And if Wuiske release the 2400 I also have a locomotive for my Sunlander Smile (or the 2300 from SRM).

Florian,

On another page you asked:
The other carriages which were used for the Sunlander were the L class carriages, right? But they are just sitting cars?
(And a little bit off-Topic: Are any models in H0n 3 1/2 existing of the L class carriages? )

There are no models at present of the L series carriages.
I have sent an email to Jade Wuiske regarding your comment of no response from them.

Southern have announced a 2400 model including 2471 in Queenslad Rail livery whis was one of the locomotives on the last run of the Sunlander.
There may be models of the L cars in future but this is only a hint of a probable model at this time.

Far North Hobbies do not have a web site as the proprietor and chief model maker is now involved in other business.
Nothing has been seen from them for s few years now.
Probably will never see any more models from them.

Thank you so much for your effort!

I cannot read your PM actually because of high server load (I got this message), but I will reply if it's working Smile

Ok, so Far North Hobbies is checked on my list for finding an 2000 class railmotor.

Yes, I think the perfect loco for my Sunlander would be the 2300 oder 2470 class, because I saw them a fey times on this Train.

And again thanks a million! Smile

G'day!

Sorry for my double-post!

I'm searching for Wuiske Lander carriages like MAS, MALF, MAL, MBS. Does someone has one or more for sale? That would be really great!

Thank you again!

Many greets from
