Help choosing V-sets

  8619 Station Staff

When Auscision release the v sets next year, I'm planning to get one in candy and one in the grey goose livery. As my layout is set in 1990, I wanted some help in picking the most historically accurate sets from the available ones below? I don't remember if the blue guards' lights or the City Rail L7 logos had been applied by then.

Cheers!

In 1990, the Blue Goose V sets had the Yellow/Black L7 logo the Candy V Set had the Blue/Yellow L7
But were later changed to the Red/Orange under State Rail Authority

Originally the L7's began their phrase under Public Transport Commission right after the change from Transport Department
the NSW Railways timeline is, sadly I'm not sure of the years changes but here you have it

Oh, thanks for the correction Speedbird1.. I thought before NSWGR exsisted there was NSWR for only a sort time when the railways was never used for the public just all fright

I've seen tools and many other things with NSWR on it so I'd assume it was before NSWGR
Anyway, thanks for the correction mate Smile

I think NSWR might have just been a brand name, like CityRail was to SRA/Railcorp.
