How long is it going to take Metro to effect this maintenance and get trains running again? Are Metro actually capable of effecting important and time sensitive repairs or are we in for more yawning and a protracted fix?
And that's a good thing. It provides impetus to make repairs happen quickly. Otherwise the fine citizens of the Mornington Peninsula would be bustituted for weeks or months. The fact this line carries regular freight for a large corporation will probably see repairs made quicker rather than slower. Money talks louder than people.
The line is critical ion the logistics supply chain for Bluescope.
