On Ozrail facebook page they are doing rtr SAR FB flat wagons .
Due later in the year .
looking at their face book pageThe FB flatcars had holders on the sides for these stanchions to sit in when not upright like in the photo so as long as they are included on the sides then they will sort of be correct. Will have to wait and see though what is or is not on the models.
The model will be released without the uprights provided like the photo on their face book page
Which in my book is a half of a model
I'm annoyed the stanchions will not me modeled upright. Also, rivet details appears to be lacking on the sample.Mate, you have a perfect right to be annoyed and to NOT buy one (or more) of those damned models!!!
Does anyone do cast wool bale or wheat bag loads for these? BGB did once........
Does anyone do cast wool bale or wheat bag loads for these? BGB did once........Depending on how dirty you want to get your hands, there was a good article in AMRM a couple of years back by Ross Hurley where he used modelling clay or something similar (might even have been blu-tack?) to create the bales and then 'lash' them with thread. Using a soft material meant the lashing actually dug into the bales and provided a very nice effect.

You just take your bat and ball and go home!!!
Sheesh!! What ever happened to actual "modeling"....you know, the concept of taking a model and adding some extra stuff to it to personalise it to your own tastes???

A wheat bag load on johnny's pages
Roachie you are the perfect grumpy old fart .Yeah, sorry fellas....not my intention to be a G.O.F., but I do realise that I am one (just ask my family; they have to put up with me a LOT more than you clowns do!!! hahaha)
Huh? Do I know you? Another internet wizard. You can give it a kiss.I'm annoyed the stanchions will not me modeled upright. Also, rivet details appears to be lacking on the sample.Mate, you have a perfect right to be annoyed and to NOT buy one (or more) of those damned models!!!

Mate, I don't think you do know me....but then how the hell would I know? You are one of the many paranoid types that is scared to put your real name on here. My name is Bill Roach and I live in Kadina SA. I'm an old bastard and I'm not scared that people know who I am, so I wouldn't class myself as "another internet wizard".Huh? Do I know you? The model is basic at best.
And I am quite willing and more than capable (in that most of my stuff is modified RTR or kits) to buy a model and modify it. But if the two most identifiable features of a known prototype are lacking, it is cause for annoyance. OER wouldn’t have made such choices ‘for cost reasons’.
