If it can't be fixed with gaffa tape, it's not worth fixing. Very Happy

Great news, everyone! We have collaborated with author John Armstrong to bring you an authorised reprint of his 2004 book called "Modelling the Queensland Railways Scene". This one in particular is incredibly highly sought after, with its 30 pages of drawings of Queensland structures etc. Lots of incredible information is contained in it including painting guidelines / colour schemes for station structures as well as rollingstock. Definitely a must have for any QR Modeller.

I don't have an account on the Book of Face, but I do read pages from time to time (then scrub my browser of FBs cookies).  I see Adam asked the question of if anyone is interested in a re-release of the PCUY/PCOY/PCO container wagon kits.
Yes.  Yes I am.  If you can bang those out in a SLA 3D print (or whatever the method was you were using recently), I will be all over them.

Also to ask, with the Ipswich show coming up, what are the chances that the bananas will show up? Smile

Happy New Year Adam & Jade.

I loved your running day and BBQ on 19th December.  Fortunately no video cameraman around.

I know 2016 will be a good one for you.  All the very best wishes.

Just out of curiosity, I checked the Wuiske website.  And the Bananas are here?!?  And already possibly sold out?!  I've sent an email, hoping there's still some available.

Sorry mate, they came and went almost instantly. It was actually under 24 hours.
I am genuinely sorry for all those whom missed out.

Cheers,

G'day All,
The website has been completely revamped. This has been mostly to allow changes such as Adam's Corners to be done by myself without needing Jade to upload them the old fashioned way. This should mean that the chapters will be far more frequent.

On another note, Adam's Corner chapter 101 has been uploaded... http://www.wuiskemodels.com/adams-corner/

As always, feel free to comment.

Cheers,
Adam

The next bicentennial. If that isn't a hint for the next 12 months, I'll be quite a sad panda as 'the next bicentennial' in other colour schemes is high on my want-list.

Is great news Mr & Mrs Wusike and Mr K Haskill. A threesome  who are making a difference in the hobby.

I'll be saving for a BLue and gold one and when possible  buy one in Broad gauge of 16.5mm   As a southerner my vote fot the grill is "as is" and with no authority.

Time for more rollingstock announcements, pass cars perhaps ?  Wink

Glad you kept the Prototype page in your revamp as I find it useful http://www.wuiskemodels.com/prototype/index.php

As I said at the show, I think that once the model is painted, the 'error' in the grill will be barely noticeable, even when you know it's there.
Having small details break off is bad enough, but having the grill come adrift would be highly annoying.
And sound as well? Time to sell some 'broad gauge' stuff to fund my own captive breeding program. Smile  Can't wait!

I hope Jade and Adam have cleared the decks, because the day they announce the 1720's are available is going to be a frenzy! Smile

THEY'RE HERE!

Good timing too, as it gets the release out of the way before the BMTS in a months time (can you imagine the chaos of trying to organise both this release and the BMTS stand/stock at the same time?  Madness), and means there'll still be plenty of stock available on the days for prospective purchasers.

No unboxing video because they're lame.
Haven't had a chance to break out the magnifying glass and go all rivet-counter-y on them, but they sure look the goods.

A hearty well done to the Wuiske Asylum and Kieren Haskell!

So wondering what this model referred do in the Haskell advertisement in AMRA is about, using an existing tooling / mech it mentioned. I don't have the ad in front of me to quote the exact mention.

2100? Smile

Couple of Tasrail decals and a renumbering and I could find a place for that.

Dammit, Wuiske's.  I seriously do not have money for this at the moment. SmileSad
Hopefully by March.
