    No, that's a Siemens train in the photo.
    It's not on the Hurstbridge line.

    Looking down between Moorabbin and Highett.  Open floor if correct as my photos are all on a backup drive that I am trying to recover at the moment.

    Many photos on Railpage will contain comments such as "there used to be sidings there, there used to be a branch line there".
    You can actually say the opposite about this photo. If you went to the same spot today, you will see sidings and a branch line.

    Up side of he Princes Freeway overpass.
    If you took the same shot today you will see the line electrified, the Westona branch line, the standard guage line, the SCT siding and even a baseball stadium.

    The scene is from the original Mad Max movie, one of the many sites used on roads between Melbourne and Geelong.

    That area was also where a train derailed in 1976.
