N7 trial run to Junee 22/08/2016

Location: Asleep on a Manly Ferry
Can anyone confirm the purpose of this run? Was it a mechanical run as rumoured or are there thoughts to have a southern equivalent of the Bathurst Bullet?

"SN47 empty cars will pass Macarthur 0052, Mittagong 0142, Bowral 0144, Moss Vale 0148, Werai 0152, Bundanoon 0158, arrive Goulburn 0233 depart 0240, pass Joppa Junction 0246, Yass Jct 0355, Harden 0505, Cootamundra North Jct 0549, Cootamundra 0550, arrive Junee 0650 terminate

On arrival at Junee requires 60 minutes to look over train.

SN4 empty cars wiill depart Junee 0750, pass Cootamundra 0829, Wallendbeen 0850, Harden 0907, Yass Jct 0955, Gunning 1023, Joppa Junction 1101, Joppa Junction 1101, arrive Goulburn 1107 depart 1115, pass Bundanoon 1149, Moss Vale 1205, Bowral 1215, Mittagong 1220, Macarthur 1322."

Considering the Endeavours and Xplorers are near identical, could it be a driver training run just using an endeavour instead of an explorer?
