    I saw GML10 on the point of a down train on Saturday 8th July 2017 at 14.30 through Footscray looking very SG.

    I just did some number crunching on Qube's Deniliquin Rice train movements since January 1, 2017 through Bendigo:

    45 Down
    9 Up (most head back via Toolamba)

    None between 15th March and 22nd May due to level crossing work between Epsom and Echuca (all trains via Toolamba then).

    I had a good look at Sunrice's Annual report.  Some interesting data on this year's harvest in the Riverina:

    2016 - 244184 tonnes
    2017 - Approx 800000 tonnes

    Trains have been running around 2-3 times per week of late.  They'll need to ramp that up soon I would imagine.  Does Qube have the capacity?

    Dodgy back-of-the-envelope calculation: Let's say Qube manage to ramp it up to 6x 1500T trains per week - that's 9000T per week, or about 450000 Tonne per Annum, perhaps 600000T with bigger 2000T trains?

    Next year's harvest is also likely to be big with good irrigation allocation (Hume Dam is heading for 100% again).

    At present the Deni line is very busy with several PN grain trains per week on the go.

    We really need SG from Seymour to Shepparton and all lines north including Denni and Moulemein. I suspect there would be quite a bit of grain out that way at the present time.

    Qube have been busy in nullawil. 3 grain trains 5 days. Another one at least to go. With 3 DN PN granies on the two NW branches also, space will be tight.
