I spotted GM27 and GM22 at South Dynon SG turntable on Friday,

Does anybody know have more information on the route knowledge training, which route, what traffic is this for?

As it's been posted in other places it's safe to say that SSR have a new contract to haul grain for Emerald on the SG through the Port of Melbourne. First train will load at Coolamon on 1 August. 3 x C class as the power. Crew training on other routes to continue using the GMs and Ts.

That's good information.

Is this on top of the grain haulage already done by Pacific National and QUBE, or has one of those operaters lost their contract with Emerald?

The first SSR Emerald grain train will probably be loading at Coolamon, Emerald's main line loading site during the daylight hours of Tuesday 1-8-2017.

Train to be made up of 2 x C's + 2 x GM's + 55 BGKF wagons (at present) there could also be changes to the loco's.

The info is much appreciated guys, we will look to the cams for updates and of course other means.  This is exciting times for Qube but is it new traffic or traffic obtained from another company?

That's actually a good question, is Qube providing the humans?

" supposed"

Train is now supposed to have 58 wagons attached, so plan B has now been transposed to plan C, while some elements have been transposed back to plan A.

Would be awesome if triple C's hauled grainies in SA one day, would obviously look & sound way better than what's currently dominating GWA grain trains (FQ, gwa, gwu & to a much lesser extent ALF's)
