I thoroughly tested this prior to my post and successfully viewed the page without logging in.
But you are correct... Facebook is now locking it down.
Unfortunately it seems you may now need to be a member of Facebook.
But at least one does not have to login to Railpage to see the news (or lack thereof) - unlike Farcebook.
Not everyone uses Railpage... so yes, we need to go and find information ourselves sometimes.

Just to clarify: A 'tin foil hat' (yes, I missed out 'foil' in my original post) is used by someone who is suspicious of other companies motives on the internet. This was therefore used in my list of points to indicate that you could get to the updates on Facebook without being monitored; as Facebook likes monitoring and not everyone is happy with their principles.Suggest you read https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tin_foil_hat

If you look on the LHS of the page there is a menu with a few options, the top one is About Us which is highlighted, the one below that is Discussion.
Click on Discussion and you should be able to view the content (I don't know about if you are not on FB as I am and it auto logs me in)
