Just wondering if there is anyone interested in the idea of setting up a preservation group in the Tamworth, New England area?
It seems the NSW ARHS has no knowledge of this group.
The website address for Tenterfield is http://www.tenterfieldbiz.com/railway
Hi everyoneIf there is, you won't get it going by asking for interest in "a preservation group."
Just wondering if there is anyone interested in the idea of setting up a preservation group in the Tamworth, New England area?
Well then, how dose one found out if there is anyone interested in starting a preservation group???Hi everyoneIf there is, you won't get it going by asking for interest in "a preservation group."

If you can't tell people about which loco/station/line you are going to preserve, it just sounds like an invitation to a Mothers Union meeting.
Oh boy, this will be fun to watchWell then, how dose one found out if there is anyone interested in starting a preservation group???Hi everyoneIf there is, you won't get it going by asking for interest in "a preservation group."

I'm sure your reply will be very interesting.
And obviously you like to be spoon feed everything. "This is what we are going to do, this is how we are going to do it, and if you don't like it well that's just too bad".
Obviously you just like to be a passenger, and just go along for the ride, if you could even be bothered.
No one has bothered to asked me, "What's your plans?"
Obviously this is the wrong web site to find like minded people, what a complete waste of time.
One negative comment and you've tossed the toys out of the cot. I suspect you'll run into far greater challenges than what you've found here. Good luck. It will be character building.Well that's TWO negative comment's, and a cheap shot.
Still waiting for your intelligent reply.Oh boy, this will be fun to watchWell then, how dose one found out if there is anyone interested in starting a preservation group???Hi everyoneIf there is, you won't get it going by asking for interest in "a preservation group."

If you can afford to dismiss constructive criticism (including a hint to share your vision) in such a cavalier manner then you're right, you obviously don't need a website.Constructive criticism???
Try the notice boards at the local supermarkets.
MODERATORS PLEASE CLOSE.
Have you asked what I'm considering? NOPE.Still waiting for your intelligent reply. It would be wasted on you, mate. You haven't even told us what you're preserving.
Have you asked what I'm considering? NOPE.MATE - you would have to be the world's worst salesman. You tell us you want to form a group, and then expect us to fall over ourselves chasing you to find out what the hell you're talking about. If you want to form something, try generating some interest instead of expecting the world to beat a path to your door, and then bitching when nobody does. You have a grossly exaggerated idea of your own importance.
Have you expressed interest in forming a group? NOPE.
There is a number of options, I can not do any of them alone, I need to find other people who are interested in setting up a group, then as a group decide which would be the best option.
And your little cheap shot has been noted as well. MATE.
Make that THREE...Oh, wait...One negative comment and you've tossed the toys out of the cot. I suspect you'll run into far greater challenges than what you've found here. Good luck. It will be character building.Well that's TWO negative comment's, and a cheap shot.
Can't even ask me what my preservation plan's might be.I'm far too lazy and disinterested to do that. Why do I need to prompt you anyway?
Just negative and cheap shots. You've already said that. Nobody likes repetition.
Obviously other keyboard warrior, just looking for the chance to lay the boot into someone. You left yourself wide open there, Ol' Bean. Criticism doesn't necessarily equate to bullying either. You can either take it on board, or you can behave like a petulant princess and throw a tantrum. Latter option taken I see.
You only confirm that being on this web site is a complete waste of time.Yes, and?
Everyday I run into FAR greater challenges then you and your mate could ever possibly cause me.The fact that you've run into a huge rant about some rather benign comments on an internet forum (of all things), would have me believe otherwise.
So take your TOYS, and go play somewhere else. You're only new here, right? Might be an idea not to upset the locals too much. There are quite a few people here who could tear you another one without blinking, nor giving a second thought about it. Unless of course, that is why you are here - in which case, you're fair game.
Remember this.Ah. Sweet irony...
"If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all".
It will help you build character.
