What other services does Vossloh offer?  Perhaps they will introduce that to the market?

Lots of Inland Rail $$ going their way too...

Vossloh makes its own type of resilient fastening systems in competition with Pandrol. Currently they only sell slab track and turnouts through local subsidiary Vossloh Cogifer, not ballasted track sleepers. Given the seeming stranglehold that Pandrol has on the Australian market, purchasing a local sleeper manufacturer is the best way to get in on the action quickly.

Funnily enough though, Vossloh purchased Rocla's North American concrete sleeper division last year - Rocla being Austrak's main competitor. Similarly, I believe that Rocla North America now only offers Vossloh fasteners on their sleepers. Perhaps we will soon have a rather amusing situation in which Rocla is purchased by Pandrol and its former subsidiary is owned by arch-competitor Vossloh...

LdD, do Vossloh Cogifer import the turnouts or manufacture them in their facility at Castlemaine? (old Thomson's Foundry site, north side)

I think I might be wrong on the importation bit. Vossloh Cogifer fabricates the turnouts in Castlemaine (and Kewdale WA) but has the concrete turnout bearers sans fasteners fabricated by local contractors - possibly Austrak.
