Complete garbage.
I have just done my research and found out that this train is a Southern Aurora ANZAC special running from Sydney to Ararat and other places this week. It is being run by St James Rail, has anyone ever heard of them?Blimey, how did these guys slip under the radar?
This was at about 11:30pm during the shutdown so it doesn't really explain anything because the train was stabled at Traralgon Yards the day before with the loco facing the Melb end....N class with a H set just passed through Morwell heading towards Traralgon. Any idea what it's doing? It's best.
But V/Line are short on long distance stock, so Traralgon are getting some Hs.

That seems to be there every time I go past on a weekend.True that, I have been past a few times recently on an evening bus and the locos have been stabled there every time.
They're CGSY wagons - I think these are already SG going by V/line's NSP Addenda. That seems to be there every time I go past on a weekend.True that, I have been past a few times recently on an evening bus and the locos have been stabled there every time.
Speaking of grain trains the whole of the Qube rake is now stabled at North Dynon after having been sitting at Tottenham yard for months.
Gauge conversion time?

They're CGSY wagons - I think these are already SG going by V/line's NSP Addenda. Thanks @Carnot, I thought this was the Qube BG rake that was hanging around Tottenham for a few months but which I haven't seen for a few days. There have been the odd 2 or 3 at North Dynon recently but first time I recall seeing the whole mess of 'em there.
So it's Dead and buried, the Qube BG grain trains. Somewhat surprising given the Sealake and Manangatang lines aren't going SG until at least 2020.They're CGSY wagons - I think these are already SG going by V/line's NSP Addenda. Thanks @Carnot, I thought this was the Qube BG rake that was hanging around Tottenham for a few months but which I haven't seen for a few days.
