    Telford silo no longer has a rail siding and may not be used at all.
    Rodo
    St James is the only one south of Yarrawonga with a rail connection.

    It isn't Thangool, but it is Jandowae! Taken from the northern end of the angle looking back toward Dalby.

    Haha! I should take some more archaeology shots, but mostly they'd be within a smallish radius of home and you probably would have just been there too! Wink

    It took a lot of time, I was first thinking Derwent Valley again, but not so many buildings about.

    So, west of Burnie I went, and found an old platform (minus the portable advertising trailer), a pedestrian sign, and the full road distance sign at Somerset.

    Cairn Curran reservoir crossing west of Newstead that was abandoned when the reservoir was flooded and replaced by new higher bridge, perhaps ?
    Countryside looks like Loddon Valley anyway.

    I did say it should go quickly, and I was right, yes it's about 5km West of Newstead, being the remains of the former bridge over Joyces Creek, looking East, which is just upstream of its junction with the Loddon River. It would just be under the water when Cairn Curran is full - you can see the high tide marks on the other side. The present 1950's bridge is about 500m further upstream.

    Does anyone know if there was an even earlier bridge there? No remains of one can be seen, but those piers look a bit generous for 1874.
