Question 9 is also a bit iffy you are right about the Express locomotives to a point but it was the 500 class that was used on the Overland Express though the 600 classes although designed as a express locomotive were never used to their full potential on express trains in SA because of the weight of them. They did work some passenger trains though.Thanks DJPeters. I have added the wheel arrangement to the question to help clarify which class it was referring to.
The 500 class took the Overland from Adelaide to Tailem Bend were a 600 would take over to Serviceton usually.
