Joe Biden's campaign has actually had more money donated to it from arms manufacturers than Trump.

$1,046959 For Joe Biden in donations

$1,074184 for Donald Trump in donations

I saw a claim a while back that Biden had more in donations from the defense industry but when I checked again tonight it appears that they're now roughly equal. A bob each way as they say...

Not surprised that nobody has covered this scandalous revelation about the Clinton campaign's stupidity in the 2016 election - The Federalist:

Top U.S. intelligence officials were so concerned heading into the 2016 election that the Russians were aware of and potentially manipulating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s plans to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent that they personally briefed President Barack Obama on the matter, newly declassified Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) documents show. CIA officials also requested that the FBI investigate Russian knowledge of the Clinton campaign’s collusion smear operation.

Newly declassified handwritten notes from former CIA Director John Brennan show that the U.S. intelligence community knew in 2016 that Russian intelligence was actively monitoring, and potentially injecting disinformation into, Clinton’s anti-Trump collusion narrative.

So now it turns out that the truth was Russia was gas-lighting the Clinton campaign to make them think Russia was influencing Trump? Hillary was desperate to believe anything bad about Trump was true, wasn't she.

Yes, Ms. Clinton, as well as being an unelectable candidate, ran the worst campaign in living memory. I think people give Trump too much credit for his victorious outcome. I'm quite sure any of the Repbulican candidates would have won.

A long form essay, but it's a brilliant take on the level of distrust that exists in the USA:

The thing that still chides with me is that nobody from the Democrat side has ever take responsibility for the fact that Trump got elected. Instead they blame Trump for cheating somehow.

I think the result is already "in the bag" if you look at the polls, Trump's handling of the Covid-19 Pandemic has been the worst by any U.S President in history!! , me myself, I really had no problem with the Trump Govt until this pandemic came along,  since then, he has been right off the rails with it, no wonder so many have died over there.
  Carnot Minister for Railways

Arguably lots of parallels between the USA today and the Russian flu (possibly Coronavirus OC-43) in 1889-1995 which devastated Russia at the time.

No other US Presidents have handled the COVID-19 pandemic, so it's also true to say that "Trump's handling of the Covid-19 Pandemic has been the best by any U.S President in history!!" Thus a meaningless statement.

O.k, what I should have said was his handling of the Pandemic has been the worst by any U.S President for a major crisis!

Just remember where that snippet is coming from. The Federalist, The Federalist ffs!! Makes the Daily Mail look like the Morning Star. Seriously. Yeah I am no fan of Ms Clinton, but even she would be better than that thin skinned muppet.

And you are forgetting Donald Trump was lucky to win that election, I do not know why everyone thinks that he won in a landslide. 75,000 in key states won it for him.

But I agree with you! I truly in my heart believe Mrs. Clinton was an awful candidate, her and her running dogs thought the election was in the bag. Yet she was beaten by the most unpleasant, most undesirable of the Republicans. Any other Republican would have won by a landslide, Trump just managed to sneak in, not even winning the popular vote. His notorious golf cheating shenanigans, famous the world over, should have been a warning in the Replica primary. They let him creep in and steal the bag, the second biggest hold up in history after whatever it is the Mrs.Clinton did. A joke, a real laugh show.

No a plot thankfully foiled to Kidnap a Governor. The US is screwed unless the Muppet in Chief is defeated. White Terrorist groups are encouraged by the rhetoric of the Orange one.

No they wouldn't have Billy. Only Trump had a chance to defeat Clinton. Marcus Rubio, Ted Cruz (what a gutless jellyfish he is), Mick Huckerbee (Total W@nker), Carly Fiorina, Jeb Bush, give us a break.

Equally,, only Clinton had a chance to lose to Trump. Things needed to line up on both sides to get to the result that occurred.

Both the parties need to work on ways to get higher calibre candidates in 2024 and prevent another sh!tshow like 2016 and 2020. A bipartisan push for a constitutional amendment establishing term limits and age limits for House/Congress/Presidency should be the first priority.

I feel that this upcoming election will be more or less a referendum on Trump's handling of the Coronavirus Pandemic in my opinion, he has constantly downplayed the virus, claiming it to be "no more lethal than the flu", this is not true, most if not all scientists have agreed that Covid-19 is 5x6 times more lethal, he has said in the past that the virus will just disappear one day, again not true, a tried and tested vaccine will help it to die down a whole lot yes, but it won't disappear just by itself.

UK telling ministers that they expect a Biden win.

Also reading up elsewhere that Bidens numbers for polling are stupid consistent and double than what Hillary had for a solid 6 months. You'll note that on that betting chart that major dip in Hillarys preferences when some sort of tapes got released before the last voting.

2016: +4 and 20% undecided in Hillarys favour
2020: +11 and 8% undecided in Bidens favour

For anything, sir. Anything at all.

It looks like SuperTrump is cured of the Chyna corono virus. Just held a rally in Florida.

If he survived this, I think he is totally unassailable now.

Attempted impeachment, stormy scandals, tell all books, personal taxes, phaic news, anti social media, and the crowning moment of Corona.

Trump just might be King on Nov 3.

I still can't get over the fact that Trump continually stands up and lies through his teeth, and people fall for it. His latest effort is to tell them that he is now immune to COVD-19, which is not true, and that America is making great strides towards a vaccine which will be available to everyone this year. . . in his dreams.
