There is a massive fire at the APM factory in Gippsland with flames over 40 metres high with units on the scene.
Wondering what this means to rail freight services now.
A woodchip conveyor caught fire, some 15m above ground. Almost identical location to a fire that involved the same conveyor in Sept 2012. Flames shot up maybe 1m. Lots of black smoke from burning rubber, and lots of white smoke from smouldering woodchips from the pile below the conveyor.

Minimal impact to production; maybe if the conveyor, which transports woodchips from the chipper to the various piles of different grade chips isn't repaired within a week, then the piles will run out.
Nothing to see here.
