I am about to pre-order the Overland Passenger consist from Auscision.  This looks like a really good model and the consist I will pre-order will be:



The price is $1300 for the consist and other cars can be purchased and added.

Now for the loco @dthead and others what would you suggest?

I'd try to find a couple of Trainorama 930 class myself (except I already have two....)
I don't think there is anything better for the V&SA version )unless you want two Trainorama S class or Auscision B class...

A pair of Austrains (or the inevitable Auscision) CLP's in AN silver/green/yellow is suitable for 1990's SG operation.

Ozrail Models made a RTR resin 900 class some time ago. I've never seen one for sale second-hand. BGB made a resin kit also.
