Greetings all,

Trying to get some straight numbers, when was the 1700 class converted for Driver Only Operation? Likewise for the 1720s, they both received roughly the same DOO refit, does anyone know the dates that started happening for each class? Most sources just say 80's or 90's but I'd like to narrow it down a little bit more.

Likewise for the liveries, the Diesel Blue livery went out in the late 80's early 90's to be replaced with the Bronco scheme yes?

Thank you! The books I have just say 'in the 80s' or 'in the 90s' but the game I'm modding this stuff into requires specific dates that aren't always easy to find.

Is it the game itself or is it just some of the high profile players who demand you run to specific dates?  

The reason I ask is a bad experience I had with an online group in another game, Trainz. I found when I did Trainz some years ago some 'legends in their own lunch box' imposed their own personal rules onto the rest of us. I just ignored them and had more fun doing it my way. Eventually I found these domineering 'bossy boots' too unpleasant and will not have Trainz on this computer. Like some other community clubs, some personalities were overbearing, and wanted to prove they had superior knowledge, as if knowledge was a competition!

Oh yeah, some of the Trainz guys are hilarious.  
I still get the occasional email wanting me to give them stuff I did more than 10 years ago that is probably doesn't work anymore.
