Where is Louise Milligan, Sally McManus, and many others? I'm sure they abhor DV, but it's crickets when it's one of their own...
Nice to see the Formula One GP canned again this year. Probably saved the State close to $100 million and perhaps even more in the future if Melb permanently loses the stupid circus/money pit.It was canned months ago to the Fed Goverment not budging on the two week quarantine for incoming people and F1 not having a bar of it.
Kudos to the Save Albert Park crowd for finally succeeding too.
It was canned months ago to the Fed Goverment not budging on the two week quarantine for incoming people and F1 not having a bar of it.It was canned due to the choice of the Andrews Government, nothing to do with the Commonwealth.
Daniel Andrews has failed this state.
His mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic is a blight on Victoria. No other state is yet to see a second-wave but through Daniel Andrews' pathetic performance, Victoria is seeing a growing second wave of infection likely to trump the first wave in its growth and its aggression. Victoria is back where it started.
Three months of long, tiresome, exhaustive progress has been for nothing.
The only reason we form governments is that through community collaboration and leadership we are stronger and safer together than when we are apart.
Daniel Andrews has failed the most basic test of leadership: Keeping the community safe. Victorians are angry. Victorians are frustrated.
We need proper leadership, someone we can look to in these strange times for guidance, leadership, and hope.
That person is not Daniel Andrews, he has proven that himself. Someone must be held accountable for this failure of leadership.
Democracy relies on having accountability in our government. Daniel Andrews has failed. Daniel Andrews must be held accountable, Daniel Andrews must resign.
Imploding not sure but new petition for him to resign has 90,000 signatures already and growing.OLD OLD ANCIENT rant!Daniel Andrews has ........

Word on the streetPeople are fair less trusting of Governments now, whatever the political persuasion.
Traditional Labor voters in the west upset with Dan following pivot to Vax our way out of this following gladys has not been well received, people unsure and don't seem to trust doherty plan
No one had alternative, but were angry and felt let down adding we are doing the right thing and can see that some others are not and that
Dan has given up on us
Huggy bear

Re abandoning zero: Mistaken for "Dan has given up on us" Simply pragmatic recognition that there are enough selfish saboteurs or groups of ill informed ppl to prevent covid zero. Not difficult to understand.Like the group of people hanging around a takeaway bar on St Kilda on the weekend, 99% of them maskless.
Imploding not sure but new petition for him to resign has 90,000 signatures already and growing.Maybe James Merlino is the answer. Matthew Guy and the Coalition certainly are not.Daniel Andrews has failed this state.

Trouble is that I do not trust the Coalition with their bunch of narrow minded, culture wars BS. If their campaign was anything like the last one, I fear for the Sudanese Dispora.Word on the streetPeople are fair less trusting of Governments now, whatever the political persuasion.

That said, Zero-Covid is basically impossible. Another problem for Dan is his abandonment of a significant % the working class (and much of the middle class) who hold to socially conservative views on family and education, by agreeing to almost all of Fiona Patten's radical and destructive policies.
