Not released his physical eh, have you tried a thing called Goggle, or is that to hard for you?

So I have to research my own counter-points because you're too lazy and/or incompetent to do it yourself?

No thanks.

Biden's approval rating continues to crater:

Getting back to Joe Biden (you know, the topic of this thread), do you actually have any clue as to he's so unpopular with the electorate at the moment?
I'd want proof that he is "so unpopular" before I even considered an answer. I certainly would not take your biased opinion as gospel truth.
Valvegear
Even the 'chattering class' media has turned against him recently. I think this article in the high-brow intellectual magazine The Week from a few days ago sums things up nicely:

Biden is old and Harris is very unpopular: What can the Democrats do?

The week ahead of President Biden's 79th birthday — Saturday, Nov. 20 — there was a considerable amount of drama involving Vice President Kamala Harris. The two are not unrelated.

Biden is the oldest person to ever serve as president. He will turn 80 shortly after next year's midterm elections. That by itself increases scrutiny of the official who is, as the cliche goes, a heartbeat away. But Biden's age and performance in office has many Democrats speculating he won't run again in 2024 at the same time they are starting to worry Harris wouldn't be an upgrade.

Biden's poll numbers are bad, and Harris' appear to be even worse, with job approval ratings as low as 28 percent. This has led to finger-pointing within the White House. While it's hard to see what Harris has done that is worse than the performance of unpopular vice presidents past, such as Dan Quayle or Dick Cheney, if Biden doesn't run, the normal solution to this problem — fantasizing about the veep being dropped from the ticket for the re-election campaign — is unavailable.

Also another article this weekend from yet another magazine that is a favourite of the intellectual chattering classes: The Atlantic:

Six Theories of Joe Biden’s Crumbling Popularity: The president’s approval ratings keep falling. The question is why.

The biggest mystery in American politics right now—and perhaps the most consequential one—is how Joe Biden became so unpopular.

Biden began his presidency moderately popular: At the start, Quinnipiac University’s polling found that 53 percent of Americans approved of him and 36 percent did not. Today’s numbers are the mirror image: In a Quinnipiac poll released yesterday, 36 percent approve, while 53 percent disapprove. FiveThirtyEight’s average of polls finds him doing slightly better—42.8 to 51.7—but still in a consistent slide since the end of July. The numbers are very polarized, but Republicans have always disapproved strongly of Biden; the big difference here is erosion among Democrats and independents.

This reversal could have wide-ranging effects. Biden still hopes to pass a massive social-spending program, for which he needs uniform Democratic support. Depending on their understanding of the causes for the slide, members of Congress might defect. Biden’s unpopularity may already have cost Democrats the Virginia governorship and nearly sunk Governor Phil Murphy of New Jersey too. If Biden is this unpopular in a year, congressional Democrats will be entirely swamped in the midterms.

The article then goes on to explore the reasons why they feel the mood has turned so dramatically against Biden. Losing support from your own party is pretty serious - even worse when there's no obvious solutions to turn it around.

You made the claim that they haven't released his physical exam, it's online there, but I am not providing a link just so you can get a freebie.

Well it's a bit rich to make claims about what I've said and then ask me to research where I've said those things myself.

I never said those claims, Billybaxter did,  all I said was that you have to search for the Biden physical results for yourself, since you made the claim that they didn't make them "public", but of course you don't want to do that for fear of you making you look like a goose.... oh wait.....

Anyway when I was watching a news report the other day about Biden's medical test results - at that stage they had refused to make it public. They may well have done so now - as you say. Did they include any cognitive testing?

All the Republicans did in 4 years was to give the rich and big business a huge tax cut and Murdoch's Fox shamefully spun it that all citizens were going to benefit from it. Outright lies because Fox 'News' isn't news it's 'entertainment' and can therefore get away with outright lies.

As we all know Trump made such a big deal about 'fake media' his constituency of poorly educated and hopelessly ill-informed supporters lapped it up. Utterly delusional, hence the current anti-vaccers and stupid people needlessly laying down their lives because COVID is some conspiracy to be vaccinated with some microchipped vaccine...again utterly delusional.

Your reply means absolutely nothing, but we both know you have nothing. It is not like you have not compared Obama and H Clinton to Trump in his thread so stop banging on about it. It makes you look like a massive hypocrite.

If Trump was competent then I can understand. He wasn't. He was an absolute car crash. Why would many in the US public would rather vote for a lying, incompetent like Trump over Biden who is far from perfect and is in many ways GOP lite, but is at least is trying to do something about infrastructure, childcare, education and health. Real issues that affect ordinary Americans and not wanging on about the US Women's soccer team or big bird. And there is no getting away from it, a lot of the supporters of the GOP are absolutely crazy.

Why would would want a party who would trash deny the chance of universal healthcare, do nothing about infrastructure or education and give $7.2 Trillion in tax cuts to the super wealthy?

The Vinelander's explanation is for the most part true. Joe Public being completely gaslighted by outlets such as FoxNews and NewsMax by people who have no interest in them whatsoever.

You're making the same mistake that many other people on this board do which is to assume that people believe everything they're told. They don't, they evaluate information and make up their minds themselves.

That's why I resent Rudd's campaign against Murdoch - it presumes people can't interpret information for themselves. And they don't have to buy Murdoch's papers or watch his TV network, they have a choice - it's not a communist country (and neither is the United States).

If you need to work seven days a week to make a living then there's something wrong with the way you're running your business. I occasionally work six, but it's something of an exception, tax time, getting rid of workers not keeping fit,  and so on.

"Lies" is just your opinion.

He wants Murdoch's media off the air and out-of-print permanently. That's censorship - straight up. I don't require my choices to be censored by a fool like Rudd, I'm an adult and I can decide how true something is for myself.

He should just sit back and enjoy his beachfront Sunshine Coast mansion and millions of dollars - instead he's a bitter ranting has-been like Turnbull.
