We seem to be missing a list of train shows

    Pretty much this, we all know that there's train shows upcoming but only some get listed here. And as I'm not a frequent purchaser of the major Australian model railway magazine I've no idea what's in their latest what's on list. In fact I didn't even know that there was a model train club in the Latrobe Valley https://www.facebook.com/LVMRA/ till I saw a flyer for their upcoming show posted on a Traralgon hobby shop door.

    This site also has some other links and details that may be of interest to other MR's.  Not all events are or will be listed unless organisers provide timely details to the SCMRA/AMRM staff.

    Unfortunately the Toowoomba Model Trains & Hobby Expo has been cancelled for 2022, numerous circumstances relating to the Covid situation brought about this decision, not one that was taken lightly.

    We do of course apologise for the lack of this event, but felt it was a far better choice all round under the circumstances.

    I was at Metro Hobbies in Box Hill last weekend and they fliers there for June long weekend at Mt Waverley. There’s a hall near the Police/Ambos not far from intersection of Springvale and Ferntree Gully rds.
    There’s usually signs out along the Rd approaching it.

    Hopefully this helps?

    I suppose the big one I’m hoping for to go ahead is Caulfield.

    Being into narrow gauge, I'm wondering if it's worth going up to Brisbane for the show up there at the end of April.
    There's also the Epping show at Rose Hill in Sydney on the 14th and 15th May which is always a big one.

    Unless the world really goes down the toilet I'm pretty confident we will see Caulfield happen this year.  I'm also keen to get in the car and head out to Stawell again fingers crossed.

    Just realised that Rosehill is on the same weekend (14-15/05/22).  It is possible, but extremely impractical, to attend both on the same weekend.  Will have to get a raincheck for the Albury exhibition.

    Will have another try next year.

    If you're going on the Murray Railway Modellers website, it's still showing the 2021 dates.  
    Rod's image says the Albury show is the 21st and 22nd, so the week after Epping.
