I know virtually nothing about 3d modelling, but I am learning! I was just wanting to ask if you can use cad programs to construct the models and then use a regular (gmax) program to fine tune them:?:

if you are using autocad 3d canvas pro will import files.

Yeah, that's what I am going to try and do. Since I made that last post, I have purchased 3d Canvas. I like the extrusion building, but can't get my wall pictures to appear at the correct size! Anyway, I'll keep plugging away.

I also noticed Yuri's site has a tutorial on using backdrops in 3DC
