A variant on the normal photo quiz. Same rules as for the other "Where is it?" type threads...

Who will be first to identify the station in this diagram??
....and no sneaky looking at track diagrams - Use your head and think it through!!

One clue: No-one will be shunting those sidings these days though there may still be rail passengers waiting hereabouts....

Here's the diagram:

Beware! Signal numbers and other identifying features have been removed to protect the innocent....

Hehe heh......... Wink

Cheers,
Dreadnought

Is this suburban area, country or both?

That's an attention-getter!

To allow for a better choice of locations, it's both.

One more question:
Are these obsolete or current diagrams?

That's an attention-getter!

Victoria Park?

The diagram is around 35 years old.

It's not Collingwood or Victoria Park, I'm afraid.

Cheers,
Dreadnought

Bacchus Marsh has a much bigger yard and Sunbury is on a double track main line. There's not a lot of places with a mix of single and double track, and passenger platforms on single track.

Longwarry?

David,
I like your thinking and there is overhead power at the location but it's not Longwarry.....

A bit of a hint there, I should think.

Cheers,
Dreadnought
