squeekazoid..

Can i ask where did you find the Combino model..

Also would you mind if i did some reskinning of my own..
I took some time to find the right colours matching the livery as well as the M>Tram logo..

Keeping with the Melbourne theme...

http://forums.flightsim.com/ts/dcboard.php?az=show_topic&forum=12&topic_id=5261&mesg_id=5261&page=

(Have included link to thread until I can work out what I've done wrong!)

Still alot to do. Textures are in the process of being improved to avoid that 'slab colour' look, interior detail to be finished (seat tip-over brackets, etc) and the cabview is yet to be animated. No projected release date.

Cheers,
Matt

I don't see theme either!

And Chris/squeekazoid, is there any chance of getting the doors on the other side? Or is that more of a model thing that we'll all just have to live with. I've taken to running it on the wrong sides of the tracks! (I guess it's just something you can live with!! Also, while I'm nitpicking... The horn/bell sounds like a telephone! Razz But excellent work to both of you.

Cool.

Will you also be doing the Adelaide G type tram since it's similar?

For squeeky and indeed anyone else, if you do not know what a G class (or type, whatever) looks like, here is 303 at the St Kilda Tramway museum. Bendigo has the other 3 Birney's from the former Port Adelaide system which is what these trams were bought for, one of Bendigo's fleet has been repainted into its original MTT livery and its orignal number 302.

Sorry for the large picture size. I look forward to seeing all the Birney's downloadable sometime soon. Wish you best of luck.

Hmm.. I could do it but the doors wouldn't open. At this stage im sorry to say it wont happen yet. Because the chairs will be in odd places. But maybe later on.

I have tweaked the sound files with something that sounds more like a dorr closing (painstakingly synched, and the door beeps (but it ain't Melbourne). The gong ill have to search for.

---

As i said suggestion will be taken into account... And it still is going to be tweaked more and more...

Also the cab is a little clearer (esp. numbers on the speedo) plus a digital display and the time. Right and left views panels are smaller so you can see more outside.

Still in search of any Combino gong sounds (or even Citadis)
