After Bazza's meeting with the "what if" man, i believe he's gone back to the prototypes..., what was that i said about desert or as it now is fast becoming a "steam" oasis.

Still a work-in-progress, with temp textures on the end and side car panels. Confused

Some very famous pax aboard today, including one notorious Kiwi brat.

How much is wooden slatting these days, per lineal foot?

Clue to the identity to the two adjacent male passengers.

The gent with the beard - a famous Irish playwright; the second, a famous actor from the days of silent films, capice?

I like it, except for the windows. They look a bit odd, no offence

No offence taken, as I agree. QR has been a culture shock for this Kiwi, that's for real! Surprised

Two renders, from either end.......nearly the final. Maybe the windows will make sense now, or not?
Confused

Cheers

An updated shape - I had to can the 3d windows in favour of 2d/3d texture due to technical problems with the software boolean cut tool (useless).

Here is the completed BLV 447, and there's also 458, both with ((BazzaMotion(2)). 458 even has an Aussie Blue Heeler in the dogbox.

Vertical wooden slats cause moire problems in this render, but looks much better in the sim, 'specially if you have a decent vidcard.

An update showing progress on the Yank's tender, as it was originally. The pic is a rendered outline.

Would this beautiful beast be able to be transfered into TRS2004/6 ? As we have MSTS but is doing weird and unexpected things, maybe buying a new version of MSTS might help.

But anyway the work that has been done on AC16 221A and some carriages is bloody fantastic.

Keep up the good work guys.

Cheers.

Thanks, glad you like the results. The tenor is pushy to get the stuff done, which is apparently the tenor's tenor. Confused

I know that it's possible to port over scenery objects, as a couple of mine have been done ages ago - schooner Strathcona, and TEV Rangatira. I have a better Rangatira version now, so I'd better do something about it.

Regarding your MSTS problem, what's the symptoms?

Here is the tender (original) for the Macca. Nearly done.

Cheers Bazza

Would the AC16 have the correct sounds put on the model to make it even more realistic and fun to drive?

Cheerrs.

Stephen, even now, I'm a huffin' and a puffin' into the mic, making a lovely soundset. Razz At the moment it sounds a bit like an asmatic wombat, on crystal-meths. Evil or Very Mad

But as I'm a Kiwi, you may not (wish to) believe me. Twisted Evil

(Seriously, no promises, I'm not a sound guru, but then I don't know much about baked beans either, but I can eat'em.)
