Sure, one can always introduce these topics in the 'General' board, however I strongly believe that given the widespread interest and discussion, railway media deserves its own board.

Ideally, the rotting corpse that is called Armchair Operators could be laid to rest thus creating an opening for a new board.


I agree AO should be closed. It is nothing but an ego boosting earpit for a tiny number of members

What about changing the Down the Line Forum to Railway media? It hardly gets used in its current state.

That raises another question Geoff. Is there likely to be a review of the usefulness of some forums and how some particular fields of interest can be better accounted for?
