Is there a map on the Internet showing all railways in Tasmania, both open and closed?
If not, can someone look at:
http://www.railpage.org.au/railmaps/tas.htm
and tell me what other past lines there have been other than the freight ones listed?

Issue 200 of Tammanian Rail News magazine had a very complete map of all conventional lines, past and present.
I am working on a map for my web-site, but haven't yet finished it.
As a guide, the map at http://www.railtasmania.com/pres/graphics/map.png
does at least show them all even if they aren't labelled.

Stuart

I have seen many photos of the paper train from the Boyer mill. Where is this mill? I can't find it on any maps I have.
Cheers, Rhino

Boyer is on the Derwent Valley line in the south of the state. Its about 4km east of New Norfolk, or 14km from the mainline junction of Bridgewater
