The start of the 2nd edition of Victorian Where Am I?

Very simple rules apply in this one. The standard 3/2/1 point questions apply.

The location in question can be any signal box, siding, station etc as long as its a named location. A RMSP is acceptable. It does however have to be outside the suburban area and it has it be on a line once controlled/owned etc by the VR or its successors. The Oaklands, Tocumwal, Albury lines etc in NSW are fine as they are VR controlled.

Finally it does not have to be an open location or on an open line.

To start the ball rolling - for 3 points I was once a junction.

Here are the rules I posted when I created the first thread:

Somebody in the WWW wrote:
This is a game of the NON-cryptic "Where am I?" game adopted from the one in the Melb. forum. If you want to play with cryptic questions, see the thread here.

Basically, someone posts a question about a location (ie: "My platform was recently demolished") and YOU have to answer what location they are hinting about. If someone gets it without any subsequent clues, 3 points goes to them. If someone gets it with 1 clue handed out by the one who posted the question, 2 points. And 1 point if someone gets it after two clues have been posted.

Ie:
Example wrote:
3 points: My passenger train service was recently suspended
2 points (clue): Freight trains still pass through me
1 point: I am in the northern region
ANSWER: Rochester

Questions can be asked about any current Victorian country (Cannot be suburban) location, as long as it is current (ie as long as the line is still open. Doesn't matter if it has no pass. service).

Marshall? VR or tramway, it was a junction for either at one time or another...

No real idea why we suddenly have a new thread for this, but am I right in assuming that the only difference between the rules "which suck" and the newly introduced rules are that the location no longer needs to be open?

And it can be a line operated by the VR into NSW, and it can be on a closed line.

Both of which detracted from the original quiz significantly, and were poorly thought out to say the least.

That's your opinion. They were simply the limits of the quiz, limits I was perfectly to happy work within. I don't believe they detracted significantly at all. And limiting a quiz titled "Where Am I Victoria" by disallowing locations not in Victoria seemed equally sensible to me.

But that's cool - now the quiz is open to any VR (or successor) location whether open or closed, whether the line is open or closed. The only proviso seems to be that it's not a suburban location.

With the change, whether one thinks its minor or not, it was a good time to start up the second round, so to speak.

To carry on - no to the above guesses.

For two points - My status as a junction ceased before my closure.

Hmm, the new rules mean there's scores of possibilities - a now closed station which was a junction, the branch closing prior.

What about Koroit ?
